Subscribed London: Diversity in Tech Breakfast Panel

The answer to the “diversity in tech” issue might surprisingly lie in technology itself. Join us at Subscribed London’s breakfast panel on Diversity in Tech to learn how we can harness the power of technology to increase diversity at the workplace and level the playing field.

The panel moderated by Zuora CIO Alvina Antar will share personal experiences as well as practical advice on how all of us can contribute towards improving diversity in the tech. On the panel are:

 

Terry Tomecek, Senior Director of Corporate Solutions, Reed Business Information
As well as running RBI’s business transformation, Terry runs the ‘Working Mothers’ network at RBI as part of their diversity programme and is also active in the Technology Charter.

 

Toby Burton, CFO of Global Circulation, The Economist 
Toby Burton leads the finance function of the global circulation at The Economist, managing finance teams based in New York, London, Geneva and Hong Kong. Toby is also the Chair of the board of Trustees of Royal Association of Deaf people, one of UK oldest Deaf charity founded in 1841 and celebrated its 175th anniversary last year.

 

Nick Barnett, Strategy Senior Manager, Accenture
Nick Barnett is a Strategy Senior Manager at Accenture, leading Accenture’s customer strategy work in the Electronics & High-Tech space. He is also the executive sponsor of their LGBT network Pride At Accenture and responsible for their external LGBT engagement. Nick is the author of the jointly produced Accenture & Stonewall paper: Engaging the majority to create an LGBT inclusive workplace.

 

Gloria Baeuerlein, Partner, Index Ventures
Gloria is the only female partner at Index Ventures, a multi-stage international venture capital firm based in London, Geneva and San Francisco, with a background in investment banking.
