Zuora is seeking a Sr. Project Manager contractor to program manage all aspects in an IT department for the move of Zuora’s headquarters to a new facility. Desired applicants should have strong program and project management skills, experince project managing large IT build outs, experience working with globally distributed teams and expertise in agile methodologies. There is a strong opportunity to transition from this contract to a full time roll in Zuora’s IT PMO. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities 

• Management, administration, and tracking of all aspects of the Headquarter Move programs. Duties include managing core teams, creating and driving schedules, tracking issues, identifying risks and mitigation options, resolving problems, and communicating project status


• Manage cross-functional teams, kicks off programs, establishes schedules, and drives meetings


• Cross Functional Team members include IT, Facilities, Security, and Operations. 


• Tracks extended team activities and ensures that deliverables are on schedule


• Ensures timely, clear communication of project status and risks


• Identifies risks, develops mitigation plans and manages risks throughout project lifecycle with effective contingency planning and proper escalation


• Creates and/or maintains cross-functional development schedules and coordinates dependencies with extended teams. Creates contingency schedules where required


• Schedules timely executive review and delivers phase reviews along with interim updates. Tracks progress, reports status, and makes necessary corrections to achieve program objectives


• Analyzes and reports actual performance vs. program goals


• Reviews program documents to ensure scope, schedule, and costs commitments are reasonable and achievable. Participates in program reviews to ensure projects are on track


• Ensures project documentation is current and regularly communicated


• Leads UAT & Deployment plan and execution


• Provide recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies

Job Requirements:

• Exhibits enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity, and reliability


• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or related discipline


• 5+ years of program management experience in IT and/or TechOps Deployments


• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment, delivers on commitments


• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment


• Direct experience managing Agile and Scrum


• Proven ability to work with vendors/partners to meet project goals


• Strong and concise communication, both oral and written


• Experience in Change Management and Release Management principles and processes


• Establish credibility across extended team and influencing at all levels, including executive leadership


• Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage accordingly
