As a Technical Recruiter at Zuora you will be responsible for finding, hiring, and growing our Software Engineering, DevOps and Infrastructure Teams in San Mateo, CA.

We are looking for a Recruiter that is highly technical and keeps up with progressive technology. It should be clear in your resume that you are extremely close to technology. You will be involved in every stage of the recruiting process with a focus on providing an exceptional candidate experience.

The Talent Delivery Team is a vital component of the recruitment process at Zuora that works very closely with hiring managers on their recruitment needs. You will be partnering with Senior Leadership on the Engineering Team to define and innovative a go to market strategy and how to attract and hire top talent.

We have a small recruiting team so this is your chance to make a HUGE impact!

What you’ll achieve:

• Full cycle Recruiter with a strong focus on technical roles (primarily software developers, devops and infrastructure engineers)    


• Establish relationships within the Engineering Leadership team and develop a deep understanding of their objectives, challenges, and team style; use this information to attract top candidates


• Partner with hiring managers to define and implement recruiting strategies that include assessing external talent and sourcing passive and diverse candidates.


• Source, identify, and develop candidates


• Manage a high volume of our highest priority requisitions while maintaining a high level of attention to detail & excellent, timely communication with candidates, peers and hiring managers


• Evaluate profiles of potential candidates and conduct preliminary phone screen assessments.


• Drive offer approval and negotiation

What you’ll need to be successful:

• You have 3+ years of technical recruitment experience, in software engineering


• A very fast mover – things shift, new requirements come in, and startup chaos is the name of the game.  You should thrive in this setting


• An extreme relationship builder, you should always strive to win the relationship over the deal


• Must be able to prove that you are technical when it comes to recruiting. We are looking for someone that keeps up with the latest trends to attract top talent.


• You have impeccable interviewing skills, you also have recruitment skills and know how that meets the social demand of today


• You thrive in a culture of learning and speed and a high sense of urgency


• You find solutions to complex problems and will find ways to reach the best talent for Zuora


• You believe in the highest recruitment standards, including an incredible candidate experience and a strong partnership with hiring managers


• You must be willing to be at the San Mateo office to support your internal clients
