As Senior Office Manager (Workplace Resources Manager), you are essential to helping oversee the operations for our US offices. You will work cross-functionally throughout our organization to help set a strategy for our workplace, create consistency across each office, manage budgets, and ensure the offices run smoothly. You will oversee the Office Coordinators located in our larger offices as well as helping our employees in our smaller offices. In addition, you will help with aspects of real estate and construction management as we look to open and expand offices in different markets globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day management of our employees across the US

  • Manage and support Office Coordinators located in our larger US offices (San Mateo, San Francisco, San Jose, Boston, and Atlanta)

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords

  • Set budgets, analyze variances, and provide improvement opportunities

  • Create standards and consistency for our offices and ensure the working environment is friendly and positive for all employees and guests

  • Continue improving intra-office communication and streamlining processes

  • Help support company events and office gatherings as needed

  • Work cross-functionally to support office needs for all teams

  • Along with Purchasing, help find opportunities for cost savings in the office environment

  • Assist and supervise with facility improvement projects as well as office moves, furniture modifications, space planning conversations, and office setups

  • Create more volunteering experiences across offices

  • Communicate with building management for any larger facilities needs as needed

  • Respond to building emergencies and be a member of the emergency response team

  • A sense of humor

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Chrome, Outlook) and G Suite Apps

  • Ability to learn new software programs; familiarity with Zoom (or other VC systems) preferred

  • Ability to work overtime for special projects as needed, including some weekends

  • Must be able to travel in the US a few days every month. May also require minor international travel

  • Ability to lift 15 – 20 pounds

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Management experience required

  • At least five years related experience
